La Jolla Bar Mitzvah Photographers with Aiden!
Wow how cool is this Bar Mitzvah!? I was blown away by the stunning party that was held at the Hyatt Aventine La Jolla. This awesome kid Aiden, I know had the most amazing time. His mom and dad, but mostly mom, put on this crazy fun event. From start to finish, it flew by. There was so much to do, eat and drink.
The night started with a fun cocktail party on the terrace. This was filled with casino tables and large Jenga and Connect Four games. They had the cutest soft pretzel and pizza station for appetizers for the kids. There was a beautiful cheese and veggie spread for the adults, but I know I saw many adults sneaking those soft pretzels!
Then it was grand entrance time. Well, Aiden had the best entrance ever! He rode in on a mechanical panda bear. The kids went crazy! From then on it was a rocking dance party! The DJ was one of the best I have seen! He brought three professional hip hop dancers that kept the dance floor packed and moving. Of course gift cards to the best kid dancers were a pretty awesome perk. There were so many fun games played by all. Food stations for the kids and a plated dinner for the adults. To top it off, there were even three dessert stations – a huge candy station, a pie and ice cream area, and on the way out the door, a huge Krispy Creme Doughnut station. I was so relieved to see the kids not on their phones all night. They danced, played games and wait for it, even were having conversations. I left there feeling so excited for this next generation!
To me, the highlight of the night was the thank you speech that included a letter to Aiden by his dad. It was so well written but the thing that hit me to the core, was his wish for Aiden to find something he loves. Find this passion, do it and do it well. We all have to work a long time in life, you might as well do something you love. I am so lucky I found that with a career. I hope Aiden and this next generation finds that too!
