San Diego Beach Dance Photographer Holly Ireland. How gorgeous is this amazing dancer. I was lucky enough to photographer her on the beach at sunset. Dance shoots are my favorite kind of photo shoots. I was a dancer in New York for 15 years. When I moved to San Diego to start my photography career I was going to specialize in dance photography. Well after a year or two I realized there isn’t a lot of need for it here in San Diego. Most of the photographers for dance are either in New York or LA. That is when I started branching out into weddings and family shoots, which are now my passion. But every time I get the opportunity to photograph a dancer I get so excited! Dancers just know how to take direction better than anyone. Also how dramatic are these beach photos. Much more exciting then the studio photos of dancers!
